Rust
Rust

Ever since the spring semester kicked off, I set a flag for myself to learn Zig, but up to now I haven’t touched Zig or Rust at all. I’m still messing around with std::function and STL algorithms, hanging out with lambda wizards, and now I’m planning to pick up a bit of parallel computing — but I still find C++ the easiest to work with.
Guess I can’t escape it (sad)
Last year I was originally planning to learn Rust, but the hellish difficulty forced me to switch to Vibe Coding instead. Now that the price per million tokens keeps rising, I’m having to reconsider learning Rust.
For now, let’s start with learning Vue, which is extremely easy…
I’ve messed around with Svelte a bit before, honestly just tried it for the hype, found it pretty average. Before that I dabbled a little with Vue 2 too, that was to revamp some really old legacy project (?)
My lesson learned is that if you’re dealing with lots of reusable components, responsive design and stuff like that, just go with React plus all the ready-made libraries out there — it’s the real deal.
