Sony has recently announced plans to discontinue physical game discs from January 2028, and I can’t stand it — I have to hit back hard.
Sony, are you for real? I signed up for a PlayStation Network account months ago, I was all set to buy a PS5, but I never got round to it.
Now that you’re planning to axe physical game discs, I don’t even want to buy a PlayStation console anymore. I’d much rather get an NS2 plus an Xbox, or even build my own Steam Machine instead.
If you go ahead with this, Rockstar will think you’re a joke — GTA 6 might even launch on PC first. Don’t come crying to me later when you realise you didn’t listen to what I said…
